When the repair in Nero Start fails, please check if the situation on your computer is the same as the following.

First check if the following folder exists on your computer:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Nero\Nero Common\AdvrCntr6

If it exists, double-click it.

Can the folder be opened normally? Are there any files in it?

Is there a dialog as shown in the picture below?

If the same error occurs on your computer, please use the following solution to solve the problem.


1. Please rename this folder to 'AdvrCntr6-1'.

2. If your computer has a firewall or any anti-virus software installed, please turn them off temporarily.

3. Open Nero Start and click the 'Repair' button again.
