- Connect Your Devices
- Plug your video source (e.g., VHS, DV) into the Recode Stick.
- Connect the Recode Stick to your Mac using a USB adapter (if needed).
- Open QuickTime Player
- Launch QuickTime Player from the Applications folder.
- Click File > New Movie Recording.
- Select Video Input
- In the Movie Recording window, click the dropdown menu next to the red record button.
- Choose "AV TO USB2.0" as the video source.
- Adjust Audio Settings (Optional)
- QuickTime Player records microphone audio by default.
- To mute audio, click the microphone icon and drag the volume to zero.
- Start Recording
- Click the red button to begin recording.
- Click it again to stop.
